Because an image can say more than a thousand words and I can tell a complex story through one art piece. If it's a collection, even better

My favorite type of art is that which tells a story. I like to tell stories through my art, whether it's visual, auditive, or audiovisual. In my paintings, I love using human figures posing over cloudy skies leaving little for the imagination. My favorite part is the brainstorming that happens before the art materializes. I'm slow to create my compositions and always start with pencil drawings that evolve and eventually become the underdrawing on top of which the painting will be created.
Where do you find inspiration? My main source of inspiration comes from renaissance art. Not only is it beautiful, but the techniques used are very intuitive to me. The artists worked in layers very slowly; starting with drawings and building their work up from there. Given that I came from the digital domain, which is alsways layer based software, it made sense to start with something "basic" like drawings and grow from there. I find my stories & create my compositions through my own observations of contemporary society.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy me time to continue my career as an artist, filmmaker and musician. I'm in the process of creating a series of video content telling the stories behind the creations of my different artistic works, from conception to completion, both in english and spanish (my first language) and the $25,000 would speed up that work, as well as helping me reach an audience, which I currently don't have. My works include: art, films, music videos & music.
