I really love create small art, bigger is not always better.( for example I’ve been really more feeling in touch by a little Elegy to the Spanish Republic 12”x16” than some of the bigs one.)it’s a question of scale not of size. I paint and sculpte big also. I create abstract art that make me feel part of the creation, direct my life, teach me “to see” and to transmet my vision.
Where do you find inspiration?Everything you think, do, and live enter one way or an other in your art, I feel a responsibility to make art that add something fresh, new, and sincere in the word. Nature and particularly tree “talk to me”as a source of inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?I will help restart the “Pojoaque Valley Art Tour” that die during covid. Art in the country side is important, studio visit profit artist and viewers. I will create sculptures size of humain being, buy better quality tools for paint and upgrade my studio.
