I love painting things that inspire my faith in life from people’s beloved pets, to sacred places like the Isle of Iona, to Jesus. Anything that connects me to the people inspires me to pick up my brush. Subjects don’t always have to be beautiful but they have to be personal. My heart is easily touched.
Where do you find inspiration?Recent paintings have been inspired by my visit to the Isle of Iona, my dinner with JK Rowling (a once-in-a-lifetime event,) to my friend’s wonderful rescue dog. People loyal to me receive freely-given portraits inspired by their love and faith in me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would purchase art supplies and take them to places to meet inspiring people, animals and sites to create more art after giving a donation to my church and freeing myself from some debt.
