Well, it has changed over the 72 years that I’ve been an artist. Mostly I love color and texture all of my different mediums I work in include both. As a child, I like to draw and luckily I had teachers that recognized my talent in an early age. I became a graphic designer, art director, creative director for my 45 year career. After I left that world, I did jewelry design and teaching and freelance work today. I enjoyed digital painting, traditional painting in decorative arts.

Inspiration is everywhere—I draw deeply from the palette of Mother Nature. Texture speaks to me, and I find it in the smallest and most unexpected places, especially outdoors. Organic forms, shifting colors, and natural patterns constantly influence my work. Dragonflies and other elements of nature often appear in my pieces, but I don’t limit myself.
