Well, it has changed over the 72 years that I’ve been an artist. Mostly I love color and texture all of my different mediums I work in include both. As a child, I like to draw and luckily I had teachers that recognized my talent in an early age. I became a graphic designer, art director, creative director for my 45 year career. After I left that world, I did jewelry design and teaching and freelance work today. I enjoyed digital painting, traditional painting in decorative arts.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is everywhere—I draw deeply from the palette of Mother Nature. Texture speaks to me, and I find it in the smallest and most unexpected places, especially outdoors. Organic forms, shifting colors, and natural patterns constantly influence my work. Dragonflies and other elements of nature often appear in my pieces, but I don’t limit myself. What would you do with $25,000?I will use some of the moneyto continue my work and to promote my work. I also would like to set up scholarship fund to help other artist, I went to Travel. I also want to go to the Monet gardens at Giverney, France. I want to stay there and paint in the gardens. Hulu.
