I make art as an escape to find peace in a hostile environment but also to uplift.

The Pedestrian Series is my favorite collection of works to date. They’re hyper-realistic street scenes that capture stillness in chaos. I love getting these ideas out to see a narrative of time, peace, chaos and love come together and break apart. And everyone knows that in New York, the references are endless.
Where do you find inspiration?I find peace in both natural habitats, the woods and the concrete jungle. I’m a Gen X 90’s brother so basically the golden age of everything. I can look at a homeless person, a room in a French palace or a dumpster covered in tags and see beauty in the humanity and the filth of opulence.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I honestly would go below the radar and begin a long residency of intense production. After, say 2-3 years of uninterrupted hard work, I would come back and present a massive full career exhibition in , say Barcelona or Manhattan. I would personally invite everyone from The People’s Artist crew, cast and contestants and dedicate the body of work to humanity as a symbol of perseverance and focus, patience and love.
