Exressionism if I had to pull a word to describe my Favourite kind of art. They say Art is in the making, and to some degree I would agree, For me the art is the dialogue that occurs between the canvas and the viewer . It's is in this empty space that fills with a certain resonance the produces a reaction. This completes the work and this is where art lives.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is a difficult word to define as something actionable. I have my heroes in art and those in life. They certainly influence me but I can't say there's certain triggers or impulse points that spur creative activity. For me, I have to create, I don't know how not to. If its not going on at the end of a brush or pencil or pen, its going on in my head.
What would you do with $25,000?Buy the art supplies ive only dreamed to have. And get a studio to work solidly in for a year. It would be absolutely liberating.
