I’m an abstract expressionist. It frees me to pursue thought and emotion and spirit without confinement to the rigidly representational. And anyway, I can’t paint horses.
Where do you find inspiration?Sometimes it’s a surprise of angle and light, or in the natural world, or something practical or beautiful. I find it inside sometimes as I struggle for beauty but deal with sadness or anger. I often find it where a slender neck meets the clavicle.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d open a gallery in Little Rock and promote other and youngartists.
