To take a concept and bring it to life. Using color, texture, shapes and found objects. The process is what I find stimulating never fails.

Painting is a default for me. But, I would have to say creating 3 dimensional or sculpture is a favorite. Found objects, wood, clay, etc. is a challenge which, for me, is exciting. Putting all the pieces together to complete the picture in my head.
Where do you find inspiration?Thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales, architecture and architectural elements. I’m always looking for something to abstract finding patterns. Be it a bolt, a toy car, a piece of fabric. If you look deep enough there’s always something there to find. That’s the fun of creating like finding that puzzle piece that fits.
What would you do with $25,000?Find a studio and transportation. Whoever is willing to drive me is my way of getting around. Currently my bedroom and dining room table are my studio.
