I don't know that I have a favorite type as much as a preferred media. Water soluble oils and firm body acrylics are at the top of my list but I also enjoy working with pen and inks and both graphite and colored pencils. It really depends on how I feel at the moment and not necessarily the subject matter. Often times I have no idea what I am going to do until I begin the process and then I let it take me whenever it will.
Where do you find inspiration?This is a difficult question. Sometimes it comes in a moment of reflection. Or in response to something happening around me. Often it's nothing more than my reimagining something I saw be it in nature, or something man made. For some reason the image of things of the past, or abandoned and left behind intrigue my creative side
What would you do with $25,000?I have Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis This incurable disease effects your ability to breathe. I'd like to use a portion to create an online memorial where families can share photos and memories of the people they lost to IPF. And hopefully see it bloom into a scholarship fund for the children of IPF victims. And I want to make a documentary about myself,my wife, and my artwork on the road in our motorcycle and sidecar. Call it "Exit Stage Left". So I leave behind my gift to her and the world.
