I create art because I feel inclined to. Without it, the day feels like it’s missing something. I enjoy making something from nothing.

I like making work that feels loose and a little raw, like something pulled from a kids menu but layered with real life. It’s about that contrast for me. Crayon energy mixed with kitchen culture. Messy, honest, and a bit playful, but still rooted in experience.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the places I know best. Kitchens, late nights, half finished drinks, the energy after service. It’s in small moments, things people overlook. Old memories, kids menus, quick sketches, conversations. It all blends into something familiar but a little off, like a memory you can’t fully place.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the 25,000, I’d put it right back into the work. I’d apply to more art fairs and shows, and cover booth fees, travel, and shipping so I can show up stronger in new cities. It would give me the freedom to take more risks, reach new audiences, and keep pushing the work forward.
