I paint to express what words can’t capturing the darkness, chaos, and fragile humanity I see in today’s world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to creating expressive, layered paintings, often using acrylics and rich textures. My work leans toward figurative and sculptural forms, exploring the human condition through distortion, depth, and emotion. I enjoy combining materials mixing acrylic with oil or other media. For me, materials are not just tools, but part of the creation itself, bringing a raw, living quality to each piece
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in human emotions, everyday chaos, and the contradictions of modern life. I’m especially drawn to tensions between beauty and discomfort, strength and fragility. Social concerns and the challenges of modern life are central to my ideas. Music, memories, and observing people also shape my work.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use part of the prize to travel and deepen my understanding of Eastern art and its traditions, which have always inspired me. The rest would go toward expanding my studio practice creating a larger workspace, improving materials, and allowing myself to experiment more freely on a bigger scale.
