I’m most drawn to creating sculptural work that blends delicate materials like lace cloth, glass, and other tactile materials to build pieces that feel soft, nostalgic, and interactive. I love exploring fragility, softness, and childlike wonder through textures, layering, and gentle interaction with the work.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from the belief that our souls are here to experience themselves through chaos. Creating art is a way of tracing the soul’s movement through those phases. Chaos becomes the moment a material resists or collapses. Beauty emerges in the textures, colors, and forms that feel tender or luminous. My practice is really about honoring that cycle.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it directly into my art practice. This support would give me the freedom to take creative risks, develop new techniques, refine my sculptural language, and produce much more ambitious body of work for exhibitions and future opportunities. Investing in my practice ultimately means investing in my growth as an artist, and this funding would make that growth more possible and more sustainable.
