I paint to create small moments of joy in my life. It helps me cope with the world around me, especially when times get tough.

I like creating whatever comes to mind. I try to capture the unique moments and beauty of the world in unconventional ways. I work primarily with acrylic paints and occasionally collage.
Where do you find inspiration?Everyday life inspires me. I work with special needs kids, and the little moments with them make me feel connected to something bigger than myself. I often pull from that. My mom is my guardian angel, and I often ask her for inspiration when it eludes me.
What would you do with $25,000?A goal of mine is to start an art camp for children, especially special needs or impoverished folks, so they can find a healthy avenue to express themselves and explore the world around them. I’d use the money for supplies and an accessible venue.
