Macramé feels like a meditation, grounding, flowing knot by knot. Infused with intention and love that stays with whoever wears it.

Definitely macramé! I love how each knot builds slowly into something intentional and tactile, almost like the piece is breathing as it forms. It is so hands on and calming in a way that pulls me fully into the moment. It's creative, but also very intuitive, a sort of balance between control and letting it unfold. I also enjoy the connection to natural materials and the way the finished work feels both functional and personal.
Where do you find inspiration?Outside of art I am an ecologist, so I tend to draw inspiration from the stunning nature I am surrounded by; tree bark, waves, tangled roots, light through leaves. Not only does the beauty around me help influence my art, but my art also helps me see more beauty in the everyday things. I also often get inspired by the stone I'm working with itself. Its colors, textures, and the way light moves across it guide the piece. I take inspiration from everything it holds and how it wants to be seen.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000 I would invest in deepening my craft; better materials, tools, and stones. I would also set aside part for travel to places where I can further share my art, as well as gain inspiration and knowledge. Anything not spent on those things would be kept for practical things, savings, stability, and giving myself room to grow without pressure so I can keep creating from a grounded place.
