I’m in love with nature and all its maximalist details and elements. I love to capture nature’s whimsy in my art and bring joy to people
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love oil painting the most but also enjoy combining hand painting such as gouache with digital tools like Procreate in the process of creating whimsical illustrations and surface pattern designs
Where do you find inspiration? My biggest inspiration is nature in all its richness, especially in places like Finland (where I’m from) and California (where I currently live). I love exploring different natural and urban surroundings and finding inspiring details everywhere I go.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand my art practice: paint on a bigger scale, and bring my surface pattern designs to design fairs like Surtex on the East Coast. A part of the sum I’d use to build an art studio in our backyard!
