I create art to express my favorite childhood memories, my love for nature, and lifelong love for creativity.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
As I finish up my third year as an undergraduate art student this week, I have discovered new interests and ways to create and personalize my artwork. My favorite medias consist of drawing, painting, and sculpture, specifically ceramics. Recently, I dove into exploring more color within my pieces, testing the waters and taking risks.
Where do you find inspiration?I have recently came to terms that most inspiration behind my art comes from childhood memories, my love for nature, and urge to explore my limits and make functional objects for everyday life or decorative pieces.
What would you do with $25,000?The answer for what I would do with a $25,000 prize is easy. I would use around $12,000 to pay off my senior year college tuition, give some to my parents to help ge work done on the house, such as a new roof and new driveway, which is highly needed, and put the rest of the money into investments for a future down payment.
