It's therapeutic. It allows me to channel tension. To sit and make something beautiful out of chaos.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I try to not limit myself. So I've tried many types. Realism. And just whatever I picture in my mind- have to be my two favorites. There's a challenge to realism. And to be able to see something through my minds eye come into existence through drawing/painting, and for another person to see and understand what I was thinking or feeling through the piece. It's a great feeling.
Where do you find inspiration?Outdoors. My biggest and best inspirational moments have been on a lawn mower, cutting a clients lawn, or just hanging out outside while I have the smoker rolling. I will say, that I've taken some inspiration just from music as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy a used truck - mine is currently broke down. I run a small lawn service, and could really use a truck that doesn't have a ton of issues. I would also donate to the local Domestic Violence shelter.
