Sculpting and oil painting are my favorite mediums to create with. Sculpting feels very natural to me, almost therapeutic. Oil painting, however, is never relaxing, and is always challenging. With both mediums I can lose myself for hours.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the people that are close to me, my work is usually figurative.
What would you do with $25,000?As a single mom, I’ve spent years focusing on raising my children and helping them reach their goals. Now that they’ve graduated from college, I’m finally ready to invest in a dream of my own. With $25,000, I would create a dedicated art studio where I can fully focus on producing my work. This space would allow me to grow as an artist and pursue my passion more seriously. I would also set aside a portion of the funds to support my transition toward retirement.
