Piñatas currently! They are paper mache sculptures, made to be smashed! Handcrafted shapes, no lasers over here! Every one is unique and special. This isn't just artwork to be admired, my pinatas are an experience. Anticipation, joy and laughter are all part of this experience. Made even more special by personal touches, hand lettering, and really bringing the theme of the gathering full circle. No matter how strange, unique or different your theme might be! I love hearing my clients ideas!
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes in everything I see in life, other artists, my animals, and nature. But most of my inspiration comes from the joy in peoples faces when they see the piñata, that’s the beauty there! I started creating these for my son over 15 years ago, they were always the highlight of his parties! I decided that everyone... children and adults alike, should be able to experience the excitement these pinatas bring! Making something that brings such obvious joy is extremely rewarding!
What would you do with $25,000?I am in the process of setting up workshop classes to teach others how to make their own personalized pinata! This money would help launch an amazing class for people to socialize while learning to make the greatest part of any social gathering!! I would also love to offer some free workshops to youth groups in my local area, this money would be a huge help in getting that going in my community.
