I make art because it helps me sort through what’s in my head and turn it into something people can actually see and feel.

I like making fantasy art, portraits, and figure-based work with a lot of mood behind it. I’m usually drawn to darker, dramatic images that feel like there’s a story going on, even if you don’t know the whole story yet. I work digitally and in oil, and I’m always trying to get better at the figure, the lighting, and the feeling of the piece.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of it comes from fantasy art, movies, music, old paintings, and just life in general. I grew up loving artists like Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, and Luis Royo, so that kind of dramatic fantasy work is always in the back of my mind. But I also pull from real emotion, memories, family, mistakes, and the things people carry around with them.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to take my art seriously at the next level. Better materials, better prints, better equipment, more finished pieces, and more time to actually build this into something real. It would help me stop treating the art like something I squeeze in around everything else and start building it like a real career.
