Art has not only been an expression of myself but also encouraged me to learn about my ancestors and their roots.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Contemporary pop-culture influenced indigenous art and sneakers art are my favorite to create.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my ancestry as well as pop culture. My indigenous and Japanese ancestry is something I take pride in displaying and learning about. I grew up immersed in pop culture so aspects of that will always reflect in my art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to enter my art in more art shows across the country. I would also curate an exhibition to merge indigenous art and sneakers art.
