Realism, mainly, but I like to use all of the tools of language that we have at our disposal in order to put together the most cohesive message I am able to.
Where do you find inspiration?The largest source of inspiration is daily, cultural life. It’s the people I am around directly and indirectly, internationally, and the political happenings globally. I find further in inspiration in contemporary and art historical contexts and utilize that information as a preset language to work with.
What would you do with $25,000?If I win the $25,000, I will use it to further my artistic practice which will give me the allowance to try out more bold and experimental ideas. It will be the means in which I feel more able to create without the hindrance of as much worry for the materials used and cost of production of my work.
