Art is the pulse I answer to. When chaos claws I carve it open, thread it, staple it, paint it, write it. It’s how I navigate all my mediums
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Street photography. Capturing split-second moments and gestures…the ones most people miss. I’m drawn to the in-between… a glance, a shift in weight, something honest slipping through. It’s about being present, letting the street speak, and finding meaning in what’s already there without trying to stage or control it.
Where do you find inspiration? On the streets. In alleyways, curbs, the edges people pass by. In the shadows where most don’t want to go. That’s where things feel real, unfiltered. There’s a quiet honesty there, stories sitting in plain sight if you’re willing to stand still long enough to see them.
What would you do with $25,000?Put it back into my art. My dream is to travel across Canada building and producing a mental health project. Capturing portraits and stories of how people move through it, using art as their outlet. Real people, real voices. Something that gives space, creates connection, and reminds others they’re not alone.
