Art is a way for me to quiet my mind and focus on making something beautiful, focus on details, and bring life to my drawings
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create charcoal drawings. I love to draw faces, hands, and nature. I find that subject with unique or exaggerated features to be the most interested and most fulfilling to draw. I also have found a new interest in drawing birds. Their eyes and featuers are so full of detail, it's a challenge for me to try to capture it on paper.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of inspiration in nature, especially tiny details of things. I am inspired by people who have a story to tell just by their faces or people who show their life experiences physically.
What would you do with $25,000?I would make myself debt free and either buy some land to develop or put it towards a flower shop. I would add studio space for me to be creative and spend time developing my skills and finding quiet time to create.
