create surreal realism portraits to turn emotion into something visible. Color is my main language, with each palette expressing feelings that words often cannot. I also include symbols, textures, and details inspired by personal experiences and the world around me. By blending reality with imagination, I create portraits that feel intimate and dreamlike, inviting others to connect with the emotions in each piece through their own interpretation.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration deep within myself, drawn from emotions I experience. I often map these emotions using an emotion color wheel, creating an abstract color palette. Then, I blend that with a realistic portrait, fusing realism and surrealism. Through this combination, I invite the viewer to feel something—despite the calm of the piece, I hope it stirs a deep emotional response.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to receive the $25,000, I wouldn’t just see it as a windfall—I’d treat it as an investment in my art and future. I’d use it to expand my practice, invest in better materials, and ultimately create work that pushes boundaries. It would be a step toward a long-term artistic career, not just a one-time prize
