I create all kinds of art and make many crafts, my favorite of all is painting and drawing. I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I picked up painting when I was in my early 20's. I have been painting since. Acrylic on canvas, landscapes, and abstracts.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in the world around me. Sometimes from movies I watch or just going outside in my garden and observing nature for a while. I will also watch documentaries or study the picture of the thing I want to paint. I will also read books and write things down about what I am painting, I feel like it gets me connected to it. I also listen to all kinds of music. Sometimes when I am listening to certain types of music, I paint along with the music and let the art take over.
What would you do with $25,000?That is a tough question; we live in an old mobile home that is in need of dire repairs. My husband and I both work and are barely making ends meet. We also have 3 wonderful children. This would be such a relief. We would be able to fix so many things and actually be able to just enjoy life for a little while without worrying what is going to break next and if we will be able to fix it or not.
