Receive Text UpdatesMy favorite art to paint is emotional. I like to include emotions that I’ve dreamed about or emotions too hard to say that I paint. With every paint stroke is me releasing myself into my painting. My paintings are conversations with myself finding my art and me through the process. Through my work I also think about the viewer and how they feel. My work is very textured showing the determination I have in order to get what I want to say for that piece.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere from walking in New York and looking around me the landscapes to artists online. Also like I stated a lot of my art is intuition and dreams that I’ve had. I like to mesh reality with the subconscious. Miles Johnson is one of my biggest inspirations the way he shows emotion is so inspiring and his color is phenomenal.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it for art. To get supplies and feel secure that I can do what I want with my art. There is a lot of anxiety with the “struggling artist” however in ways I think it’s true and not. I definitely think it’s a hustle to be an artist to be determined and passionate. With this money, it would mean that my art means something. To be able to create so much more and speak to people with my art.
