I love to create art because it’s how I make sense of what I feel, turning instinct, beauty, and emotion into something!

Photography will always be my favorite art to create because it feels the most honest to me. I love catching the in-between moments people don’t realize they’re giving away—the look, the light, the truth of who they are before they pose for it. It’s instinct, connection, and feeling all at once. I get to take something fleeting and make it last, and there’s something really beautiful about that.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m drawn to the people around me—often, they don’t see themselves the way I do. Everyone has a story, and I’m drawn to the moments that reveal it. Sometimes it’s sadness, sometimes beauty, sometimes the quiet confidence of someone in their element. Other times, it’s simply making someone feel comfortable enough to forget they’re being watched—and capturing the moment they become fully themselves.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were fortunate enough to win the $25,000, I’d use it for something life-changing: proper rehabilitation after my spinal surgery. I had total disc replacements at C3/C4 and C5/C6, and recovery takes more than time—it takes the right tools. I’d invest in a proper in-ground therapy pool so I can heal safely, rebuild strength, and return to photography without pain, limitation, or worry. Not flashy, but getting my body back feels like the best investment I could make.
