Nature-based & organic art. I’m drawn to materials and imagery from the natural world—feathers, stones, metals, roots. Not just visually, but energetically. Art that feels alive or carries a story from the earth resonates with me.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration lives in the quiet, living edges of the world—where feathers catch the light, stones hold ancient memory, and broken things reveal their hidden beauty. I’m drawn to the raw and meaningful, to nature not just as scenery but as a collaborator, and to transformation as both a personal experience and an artistic language. The colors of my macaw, the textures of the desert, the feeling stirred by music like Phish—all of it moves through me and becomes something tangible.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would be able to create traveling art workshop that would allow me to offer art workshops to other communities. I live and travel out of a Jeep Cherokee with a utility trailer that has become my and my macaw (Bubba’s) home. Whether we’re soaking in hot springs, out camping, or just admiring the pigeons in the city, the natural world captivates my soul, inspires me to create, and continually shapes the way I see beauty, resilience, and connection.
