My favorite type of art to create is abstract expressionism . I let my emotions play on my paint strokes. The loose lines of my graphite pencil indicates a mood.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my new lifestyle that working the 12 steps in a recovery program has created for me. So many new emotions, rediscovered after a long time of masking them.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000.00, I would invest in a modest vehicle, pay off debts I owe from when I was in active addiction, and buy my two children (Waverly 8, Georgie 7) new wardrobes and put money in their college funds. They live in Indiana with my ex-husband (I am in Wisconsin). But because I’m sober, I see them monthly. With continued sobriety, I will be able to spend more time with them. And, with a car, I could drive to Indiana to see them!
