I’m going to be very sincere—I’m just starting to learn about art, and I’m truly passionate about people expressing themselves through it. What fascinates me most are drawings that come from the heart, and right now my favorite kind are the ones I create, inspired by my happiness.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the pain I carry in my heart, which I transform into happiness. When I start drawing, I imagine what my life could be like if I were truly happy. I also express my anger—every feeling I have, I put into my art.
What would you do with $25,000?That $25,000 would mean everything to me—it could help me finally get stable for my daughter and me. dream of going back to Puerto Rico to see my son and visit my daughter’s grave; I haven’t been since I buried her three years ago. These past years have been full of pain, but I’m still trying to move forward and find peace.
