I make art to display real problems and real emotion in the world that people can’t always put into words.

Surrealism with a touch of fantasy and psychological themes. General oil painting on canvas.
Where do you find inspiration?I studied psychology and art in school, often times I think the two intertwine beautifully in ways words cannot tell a story. Movies and books are also a large inspiration for me. I listen to actors and producers in interviews discussing their experiences and processes while trying to portray a story and character. My life experiences and stories are always reflected. Politics can often sneak its way into my paintings as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I would build myself a studio so I can have a space to finish the live paintings I do at events- weddings, graduations, etc. I enjoy teaching group painting classes to people in the community and I teach one-on-one classes with teens, this would cover their costs on art supplies so they can learn and express without financial burden.
