I create art because it gives my mind somewhere to go.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The medium changes, but the need is the same: to build a way through. I’m drawn to whatever form lets me stay engaged and build a world I can step into.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by the stranger mechanics of the mind. The work comes from trying to articulate what resists direct explanation—tension, repetition, rupture, and the feeling that I’m trying to remember something just beyond reach. Maps, symbols, and altered materials are part of that search. I’m interested in materials and forms that can hold complexity without resolving it too quickly. Rust, erosion, fragmentation, and altered surfaces all feel true to that language.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd collab on a final magnum opus-dope-ass art show with some awesome pals.
