Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

  I work across diverse mediums because I believe art encompasses all forms of creative expression. Each technique—whether lithography, vibrant portraiture, or figure drawing—offers a different language to communicate the complexity of identity and belonging. My practice is rooted in the understanding that we are not limited to one place or one story, but are shaped by the many landscapes, traditions, and voices that connect us.

Where do you find inspiration?

Inspired by my family and the natural world, my work invites viewers to find their own connections and meaning. I don't impose a singular narrative; instead, I create space for personal interpretation, encouraging others to see their own experiences reflected in the colors, forms, and figures I create. My art is an invitation to explore what it means to belong to multiple places, to carry multiple histories, and to find beauty in that expansiveness.

What would you do with $25,000?

Honestly, I use a bit of it for a small in town vacation and the rest to save for a home or pay my schooling. I am continuing my education to become a teacher. Entering graduate school and I want to be a to have some money for standard cost of living, food, rent, gas, be able to pay my bills on time and in full.
