Where do you find inspiration?In the lack of happiness. As obscure as it sounds, being in the darkest and deepest moments of my life I found another reason to smile, to create, to be seen with a vision that only my hands and a combination of pigments can describe. The smell of paint, the touch of a stroke brush, the simplicity of putting colors on a canvas when all I saw was darkness. That inspires me.
What would you do with $25,000?Coming to this country as strangers, my family has always chased the dream of stability. I work 45 hours a week with gratitude, but paying rent for a place that will never be ours feels like a dead end. My goal is to transform my hard work into a legacy: a permanent home for my mother and a dedicated studio for my passions. I’m no longer just paying bills; I’m investing in a future where my mother finally has a place to call her own and I have the space to build a legacy.
