Among the various techniques I work with, my favorite art form is ceramics, for in it I discover the very genesis of life itself. Through the medium of clay, I observe how this element shapes my way of thinking—how it transforms my perspective and molds me into a better human being. Yet, the most valuable aspect I find in this technique is the ability to share it with others—to pass on my knowledge to children, youths, and adults—so that they, too, may discover their own inherent worth.

What would you do with $25,000?I would buy a kiln, and tools for working with ceramics and teaching classes to a community. I live in an area with limited access to the arts, and I want to help them find value in their work., I believe it is crucial that they discover the grandeur inherent in the arts—that they witness their horizons expanding and realize there is a path of opportunities available as they find themselves through artistic expression. I wish to purchase this kiln so that they may have this enriching experience.
