Words are rarely enough. With art I find new ways to communicate the obscure and abstract, fleeting thoughts of my mind into something real

I've never met a medium I didn't like. I love playing with shapes and or colors, seeing how they interact. Watercolor has an almost childlike appeal to me, watching colors swirl together. The act is full of happy accidents and irrevocable mistakes. What I don't enjoy is when making art becomes a chore, my least favorite projects in school were the ones where I tried too hard at making something work. But knowing when to walk away is a challenging skill that only comes with years of practice.
Where do you find inspiration?I obviously find inspiration in other artists as I believe we all do, but it goes much deeper than that. Inspiration can strike unexpectedly like a match in the dark recesses of my mind. It can appear through my sleeping dreams or my walking ones. Pareidolia is also a common source of inspiration for me, where random shapes just out of focus become intangible divine works of art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would find a space to fill with supplies and objects that inspire. I would get messy and creative, trying new things. I have so many conceptual ideas that I've never fully materialized, it would give me the monetary means to work on art without worrying about money for a while at least.
