I offer more than just a painting. I create vibes with my love of Mysticism, Physics and advocacy for Mental Health. I call it Witch Punk.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Mixed Media paintings are my favorite. I translate the static in my head into something tangible. It is about those moments when a spray can, a brush, a paint marker and a mathematical theory finally click together. I need people to see that the universe is loud, beautiful and falling apart all at once. I just try to map the wreckage.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m a Gen X, neurodivergent. My work is a raw, DIY exorcism of the everyday American struggle, fueled by the serrated edge of crust punk and a refusal to be polished. Like Austin Osman Spare, I feel every painting is a sigil. I channel that energy into my work.
What would you do with $25,000?I will build a great studio, not only for myself but for my daughter. It will be a place where she grows up immersed in the raw pulse of creation, sharpening her own skills until the day she is ready to take the helm. I am going to build a legacy that stays in her hands, a home for the messy, work that defines us. This is about ensuring she has the foundation to carry this torch forward, turning her visions in the future into reality.
