Painting on feathers and wood, leaves ,rocks. Natural canvases. Stained glass. Something that is different, maybe odd that catches the eye. I love detail! I think artists in general see things differently. You kinda study your idea and bring your own touch to it. Some will see it, others won't. But I think each individual somehow connects with it and says to themselves...I got to have that! Thats what art does. Thru paint, music, photos, design, etc....

Nature and the areas I've lived and worked. Native American and Old west, and wildlife. Gods creation and my faith impact what inspires me. I am an older railroader who used to pound spikes. That sometimes put me on the road. Ive seen some beautiful places and God's handiwork. And I think, I'm so small....there has to be a Creator. This did not happen by time and chance!

I'm medically retired from railroad. I would share it with family. Maybe a grand vacation. Put it this way....I would do something good with it. Not that it would benefit me only, but others. If I were blessed and fortunate to win, that would be awesome! if not, it wasn't meant to be. Either way I'll keep doing what I do, and try to bring joy and happiness to those who like my art. Art is a matter of taste. 10 people will like it, 10 people won't, and that's OK. I'll keep pressing on.
