Art can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary bringing beauty to daily life turning objects and spaces into something truly special.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love working with ceramics, particularly hand-built pieces and sculptural forms. In my free time when I’m not teaching at the wheel I focus on creating hand-built ceramic lamps.
Where do you find inspiration? From my favorite artists, galleries, nature, fashion, books and museums.
What would you do with $25,000?1. Transition into a space that fully supports my art practice. My current studio limits my ability to use my electric wheel. 2. Complete my lamps and tables, refining details such as shades and glass tops. 3. Invest in a kiln and/or slab roller to grow my production and independence. 4. Participate in workshops that deepen and elevate my artistic practice. Thank you, I’m incredibly grateful.
