I love painting with watercolor, hands-on crafts, really anything unique. I also find baking to be very artistic. Writing and poetry have always helped me find words to the emotions I've felt or even suppressed. Sometimes I sing. I love raw emotion in a good song; even if you can't understand the lyrics, the music moves a soul to understand where someone's heart is. Or even feeling to the point of loss of emotion altogether. Anything that inspires someone to feel a connection with themselves.
Where do you find inspiration?I mostly find inspiration in nature. I love painting skies, and water and landscapes. I find beauty in some of the most mundane but I'm trying to get better at expressing it through my art. I find inspiration in people and the good they can share sometimes. There are so many news stories and everything is so uncertain but you find the people that are truly for you when all the chips are scattered. I just feel so much. I don't know what else to do with it.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, right now, $25,000 could literally change my life and give me a chance to keep painting and crafting and wanting to write while helping me provide for my son to get through his senior year of high school. We've had so many set backs this year/last year; the last 5 years. It really gets hard to stay positive for my son because I'm scared, but I have to keep putting on a smile and a happy sing-song voice so he won't give up. I've got 2 adult boys to inspire into productive humans here!
