I love working with my hands in order to create art. I would say I lean more towards graphic arts, like painting in watercolor, acrylic, oil, gouache, different type of markers, coloring, and sketching with charcoal, graphite and oil pastels. I love the Baroque, Renaissance, Victorian and Rococo eras.

I find my inspiration from my happiest, and the darkest most painful moments in my life. I’ve suffered from many health issues and several near death experiences like my stroke. One of my favorite artists is Frida Kahlo, I look up to her because even after everything she went through and the pain she’d suffered, she’d used that as her personal strength to create art. I find many similarities between her life and mine, so like her I've used my pain as fuel to help me create most of my artwork.

I’ve been extremely sick for the last 12 years, and I’ve had to undergo 16 surgeries not counting giving birth and my 4 high risk pregnancies, which made my life very difficult, stressful, painful and has left me disabled. So if I win I would like to use half of the money to take my 4 little girls and my husband on a vacation to visit my family which I haven't seen in 15 years and the other half to invest it in making my art studio a little bit more disability accessible.
