I love creating realistic looking art with loads of Color, oil paint on canvas w lots of texture, some impasto. I’m a huge fan of major highlights within the values. I also enjoy graphite, especially on canvas. Again I draw more realistic style, I’m pretty versatile with it, I don’t think art really has a limit. The larger the canvas and paper the better, I just love detail, I enjoy capturing the motion and emotion of an event, the movement within the moment is very important to me.
Where do you find inspiration?I find so much inspiration in life’s unique experiences and interesting people. I love capturing moments for people. The western lifestyle and the country have been an integral part of my art and lifestyle always. I draw, or paint , my inspiration coming from people and events that I have been involved in, and with that truly stand out. We are a rodeo/country living family. With nature at our door, horseback riding, rodeos, and other western events I cannot help but be constantly inspired.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had 25000, I would to make some payments, help out financially within our family where needed and probably build a small art studio to further my art career.
