My main goal in my artwork is to be true to myself. I was never interested in copying other artists’ styles. Personal discovery is my intent

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art to create is work that uses 3D Fractal Objects in a digital oriented surrounding environment. I started as an abstract expressionist painter, with paint and canvas and over time evolved my work into unique forms of digital art. From painting to photography and then to my own form of digital work based on 3D fractals, I love to work using cutting-edge digital media art technologies to conceptualize my inner thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I enjoy unique,one-of-a-kind creations.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration from abstract shapes in nature; clouds, smoke, water, the sea, the cosmos, real science and science fiction. Then there are things I can create and scan into a 3D fractal program, such as my own paper constructions and other, more complex 3D objects. These random objects can be brought together and "evolved" digitally to find accidental collisions and deliberate manipulation once a concept is latched on to. I am inspired by seeing random visual events evolve.

What would you do with $25,000?

I have stored up ideas and a working plan for building a exhibition machine using computers and monitors that would be triggered randomly by the viewer and create a unique viewing experience for each participant. If I had anything left over, I would also like a space to teach my digital concepts to other interested artists and exchange ideas.
