Painting is not just a passion, it is the only way of life I know. I use art to communicate and connect with the community around me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create art that is well thought out and planned, allowing creative ideas, possibilities, vision, open communication, and work with no blockages or restraints. Open-minded planning and scheduling as an artist can take time; it is a much better experience when engaging a free flow of thinking, allowing the vessel of my body to emit the work without obstruction and with a joyful heart. Purposeful love can create boundless imagination.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the intuitive assessment of the situation, people, and subject. I love taking in my surroundings, tapping into the energy objectively and autonomously through sketches and renderings. Then when home, I contemplate the experience and add my view of particles — how everything is a series of micro quantum elements compiled into larger reality, the dark matter and spaces in between. Through that lens, I breathe out that mirror of experience and self.
What would you do with $25,000?I would be able to continue to give artwork while have the ability in time to purse my own voice in artworks to expand my personal vision while contributing art content to continue the idea of being still in oneself to meditate creativity while celebrating color. Art for everyone is an important tool for healing. The canvas always has time to listen
