I create art because it’s the only thing in life that takes me away from the chaos in this world. It puts me into a meditative state.

In 2025, I developed a new technique by blending elements from artists who have deeply influenced me; abstraction from Picasso, pointillism inspired by Van Gogh, & the raw energy of neo-expressionism seen in Basquiat. My work remains closely tied to music, with each piece incorporating literary elements that interpret & break down a song or have the musicians’ songs on the artwork itself, a Basquiat-inspired use of text in visual art.
Where do you find inspiration?Music fuels and shapes my creative process. I fully immerse myself in the song behind each piece, playing it on repeat and absorbing its visuals, allowing its rhythm, mood, and imagery to flow directly into my artwork.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use some of the funds to support people experiencing homelessness in New York City, as I’m passionate about providing meals or financial help whenever I can. Secondly, I would rent a studio space so I can move my artwork out of my office and fully dedicate myself to creating new pieces.
