I create high-contrast pop expressionist type portraits built for impact—fast, loud, simple and unforgettable. People are my favorite subjects to paint. I paint both commissions and live speed paintings. One of my favorite performances includes a mind reading set where I read a spectators mind. Then I reveal the person they are thinking of by painting that person live in front of everyone.
Where do you find inspiration?Most of my inspiration to create originally came from music, comic books, magicians and television. It all gave me hope, excitement and joy while finding my purpose. It also planted the seed to entertain while I create.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use part of it to fund and document two new, never been done before speed painting performances that would elevate what’s possible with live painting. I would use it to continue to grow the way my art can be presented.
