I love to create contemporary abstract art whose sole purpose is to INSPIRE! I want to usher in a feeling, a needed one for my muse. I take color theory to new heights by merging skill, texture, and healing. Whether it’s brightening up a bedroom, repurposing a dingy wall or creating art on canvas. For me it’s NOT about the money or fame, it’s about inspiring others to feel!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere; My goal is to hone in on common emotional perspectives and use color theory to deliver a feeling. To cite an instance, one year I was terrified of the Pacific Ocean, so what did I do? I went to California and faced my fears, I swam, I became a beach bum, and I met all kinds of interesting people all going to the water for different reasons, I was able to create a water themed pieces that were eventually dedicated to a few beach goers who merely went there to chill.
What would you do with $25,000?I would go on a USA road trip and follow Route 66 making stops along the way. I’d eat like locals, discover hidden visual gems and paint in the moment. I’d find dilapidated store fronts, weary travelers, and unique spaces to paint and paint in/around hopefully to make a difference in the communities I serve.
