One of my most favorite things to create is deep meaningful commission work for others. I get to take my clients ideas, memories and thoughts, add my technical skills and artist knowledge to create something magical for them. This kind of work is incredibly rewarding! I learn so much each time because each one is so extremely different. It keeps me on my toes and out of my comfort zone which is where I learn best.
Where do you find inspiration?So many things inspire me! People, places, nature, cities. Other countries inspire me. When I travel I like to stay long enough to capture the magic of a place on canvas. Interesting people, places, and things make me giddy with joy so I can pass on a bit of that joy to others.
What would you do with $25,000?Absolutely I would use $25,000 to move forward with my dream to build a studio on the water of my lake property where I will fly in artists to my studio/gallery via seaplane to paint and create for an uninterrupted week or two long workshop where the main goal is to be free and discover their own personal style. At the end of their adventure on beautiful Beaver Lake in the Ozarks, we will host an art exhibit of their work and meet some local art collectors & enthusiasts like Alice Walton.
