The ocean holds stories few understand harsh, unpredictable, alive. Capturing that beauty became the outlet I didn’t know I needed.

Underwater work, no question. It’s unpredictable, messy, and rarely goes to plan and that’s exactly why I love it. You don’t wait for perfect conditions, you make something out of what you’re given. unpredictable conditions, light, subjects and the raw power of the oceans truly tells a story
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of my inspiration in the raw energy of the ocean. The movement at and beneath the surface, and the way light shimmers and moves across both the water and the subjects. The ocean has a power to it that you can’t control, and the life within it is just as wild and unique. Being in that environment forces me to adapt, react, and create in the moment, that’s where the best work comes from.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use it to create a larger body of work focused on the ocean and conservation, funding shoots, storytelling, and projects that highlight misunderstood species and the importance of protecting them.
